Get out, get involved — on your terms.
More connection, more confidence, more of your community
One-to-one and group support to take part in the activities, places and people that matter to you.
Community Support is about helping you engage with the world around you — socially, recreationally and in everyday life. Whether it's catching up with friends, trying a new activity, getting to appointments, or working toward study or employment goals, we're alongside you to make it happen.
We offer both one-to-one and group support, and we'll always start with what you want to do. For some people that's building confidence to use public transport; for others it's joining a local group, volunteering, or simply getting out and about more often. As your skills and confidence grow, the support can step back — that's the point.
Being local matters here. We know Cessnock and the Hunter, and we use that to connect you with the places, groups and opportunities on your doorstep.
